It’s easy to lose perspective when trying to juggle the day to day responsibilities that come with life. Much of my work involves time on the computer and I can easily lose track of time and discover that an hour or two has passed in a blink of an eye. I always feel energized when I spend time outside, even if it’s just in my own backyard tending to my small garden or sitting in my patio with journal in hand. I treasure those quiet moments of prayer and reflection outside. It’s during those times that I feel especially connected to the loving presence that surrounds us. Whether I’m enjoying a sunset or the tiny array of visitors (butterflies, birds, lizards) that visit our backyard, I feel as if I’m seeing a glimpse of Heaven on Earth.
I hope that you are able to take time to enjoy all the blessings that surround you. For those of you who have experienced loss due to the recent harsh winter conditions where you live, I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Wishing you a peaceful and safe journey for the week ahead.
Blessings,
Sheryl and Joe Brooks
